Snapped this quick shot of my Fiero as I walked out the front door. Seeing a car you saved from the scrapyard just parked there, siting pretty, is a new one for me. And damn, does she look good.

The Fiero is the best mid-engine car GM has ever built

Y’know t hat reminds me, fo r a minute I was thinking about maybe picking up those two Fieros from t ha t Ron guy in Ann Ar bor. Last I saw, he was asking $800 for the pair of them, and it wo uld be nice to save another one, at least.
But the more I think about it, the more I wonder why over the past couple of years, no one else has snatched them up yet . Th ey must be horrifically rusty underneath. Probably too much work to bother with...

If they aren't rusted to hell and back underneath(mine needs some love, but not too far gone) they are easy as hell to fix. It's at least worth having someone give them a peek if you can't do it yourself.

Also you have to go to Ann Arbor

Given that my brother’s Saab was sitting in the same field for ~13 years or so, my hopes aren’t high. It’s become a bigger project than we anticipated.

Oooooooohhhhhh it’s *that* Roy’s yard.
.....yeah, pass. Decent projects are still well under 2 grand if they move under their own power and plenty of non running examples are under a grand. It's worth the wait. I love mine, but I wouldn't love it as much if I had overpaid.

It does look good. Good job on the rescue!
